These pictures always fascinate me, because no matter what you do you always get a nice backdrop, this would suit for underwater themes to be honest, i mean the blue does sort of just point in that direction >.< :)

I feel kind of arrogant that i may not seem like i appreciating art with my ratings etc. So let me explain.

Vision: From what i understand and do not get me wrong, this is a collaboration, the vision is that of a theme, but not knowing whats coming next in this artwork, so the vision is scarce and somewhat not there, its presence lacks creativity due to a boundary being set between you and your collaboration partner.

Originality: Taking in the fact i do find this sort of work fascinating i do have to admit and excuse me if i sound to blunt maybe, but this work is everywhere, maybe not to this caliber as i must admit its a nice finish, but i do see a lot of this style around and the techniques used are around a lot, it would of been best to get this critiqued maybe with the final production that way you have everything in it, even if it is a collaboration the final piece in my eyes would of brought out a better effect and depth for the background.

Impact: The impact for me is strong even after taking in to account my opinion and my artistic impression above, the colors work well, i like the flow and textures, and as i said above at the start this would work well in a sea scape sort of digital art, this picture reminds me of the sea, looking up from the depths of it as a red sun is setting creating the purple effect at the top :)

Overall i like the concept and i do like the work, but just taking in to consideration the work itself the originality and the overall unfinished image (waiting for the finished collaboration).

Keep doing them as i said i do like them, i just hope you did not take this the wrong way.

I mean I put some salt on the painting while it was still wet, this way it absorbs the water and creates special effects :)

How interesting! Does this only work for less viscous paints like watercolours?

I only use it with watercolor, maybe it works with other painting medium like acrylics or gouache as long as there is water in it :)
